Full Metal Jacket: 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray

While Warner has not yet detailed the technical and supplementary specifications for this two-disc Digibook release, preliminary box art suggests that the first disc will be identical to the already-available Deluxe Edition. That version presented Full Metal Jacket in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 LPCM audio track alongside the following supplements:

* Commentary with Adam Baldwin, Vincent D'onofrio, R. Lee Ermey, and screenwriter/author Jay Cocks
* Full Metal Jacket: Between Good and Evil behind-the-scenes featurette
* Theatrical trailer

The 25th Anniversary Edition adds a DVD containing the feature-length Stanley Kubrick's Boxes documentary.

The studio has not yet set a release date for this 25th Anniversary Edition, though it is now available for Amazon pre-order.
