Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat Blu-ray

Next year, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat to Blu-ray. This adaptation of Dr. Seuss' classic children's tale stars Mike Myers (Wayne's World) as a mischievous feline who makes a fun-filled visit to two bored siblings (Dakota Fanning, War of the Worlds, and Spencer Breslin, The Happening).

The directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated production designer Bo Welch (The Color Purple, Men in Black), the film also features Alec Baldwin (The Departed), Sean Hayes (The Bucket List), Kelly Preston (Sky High), and Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons).

Universal's Blu-ray presents the feature in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also contains a number of bonus materials, such as:
