The Richard Lester Collection - Richard Lester began his career as a director in television in the fifties working with comedians Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan and had his first success with the Beatles films A Hard Day’s Night and HELP. His style is characterised by a flair for visual comedy and a subversive sense of humour with many of his most successful films embodying the mood of the swinging sixties.

# How I Won the War (1967): John Lennon made his acting debut in this hilariously surreal collage of battle footage and one-liners lampooning the absurdity of the war.

# The Knack…And How To Get It (1965): A fun-filled swinging sixties comedy about a man (Ray Brooks) who has "the Knack" of seducing women and the mild mannered school teacher (Michael Crawford) who desperately want to learn from him.
