Purtroppo in base a ciò che ho letto e dalla pochissima esperienza maturata, ho notato che i network europei sono aggiornati molto più lentamente e sono molto meno ricchi rispetto ai network USA e giapponese, quindi vi consiglio di iscrivervi con nuovi nick anche a questi ultimi:

ci sono molti più contenuti da scaricare, anche gratuitamente. Addirittura si possono scaricare demo con la lingua italiana che sul network italiano non si sono mai viste o non si sono ancora viste (esempio recentessimo: la demo di Iron Man)

Sono previsti nelle prossime 3 settimane 5 interventi di manutenzione sui server PlayStation. Gli Europei non subiranno molto gli effetti di questi lavori in quanto il Network sarà inagibile dalle 5 alle 8 di mattina. Non è chiaro che tipo di lavoro verrà fatto, ma la speranza di molti giocatori è che vengano aggiunte le patch non ancora distribuite in Europa e potenziato il servizio online per l'arrivo di Killzone 2 il prossimo mese.

MTV e Sony hanno annunciato al CES 09 che gli utenti PS3 potranno godere attraverso il PSN di alcune programmazioni di MTV. Gli show menzionati sono The City, South Park, SpongeBob SquarePants e Rock of Love Bus con Bret Michaels e saranno disponibili dal mese di febbraio. Come al solito tale servizio sarà riservato all'utenza americana, ma nulla vieta che sara' allargato anche al continente Europeo. Tale notizia arriva a ridosso della data ufficiale per VidZone, che sara' disponibile sul PSN PAL dal 4 giugno, magari attraverso questo servizio avremmo gli stessi benefici degli utenti US.
